Ananda is a beautiful country house situated in the idyllic Colonia, Uruguay. It has 182,5m2 living space, 39m2 pool with 120m2 terrace, and a 80m2 Barbecue/Garage extra house. Ananda is set in a stunning 6ha plot with its own eucalyptus forest.
5km distance to the secluded beaches of the Rio de la Plate, 109km from Montevideo, 70km to Colonia del Sacramento and from there 1 hour by ferry to Buenos Aires.
During the construction of the house, in early 2000, much emphasis was placed on quality and a harmonious and very spacious design.
Center of the villa is a large living room with a wooden roof. It is divided into a sofa area with fireplace, a spacious dining area and a bar, which combines the living room with the kitchen. Via a hallway you can accsess the bedrooms.
All three bedrooms are equipped with built-in wardrobes. The master bedroom with en suite bathroom also has a Finnish sauna, as well as a hot tub.
The house is surrounded by a gallery with different location areas. A small wooden bridge leads to the pool with terrace. Behind the house there is another building, the barbecue house. In addition to the typical uruguayan barbecue common room, it includes a garage with space for two cars and a separate bathroom with household space.
The plot has a representative entrance and a side entrance, which are at the two ends of the property. The routes do not cross the garden area. The well-kept garden was laid out very nicely and functionaly. On the plot more than 100 species of trees and shrubs were planted, as an organic fruit and vegetable garden.
The buildings are heated by a gas heater in all rooms are radiators. The drinking water supply is self-sufficient.
For the care of the garden and the support in the household, there is very efficient and recommended staff, which is familiar with the object since it was built. Furthermore, a contact to the architect of the object and to a notary close to the object including translators can be provided.
